BEAD – Greatest Common Factor is used for memorizing the order of flats in the key signatures. While it seems nonsensical, I find that it works just fine for memorizing not only the actual key signatures themselves but also the order of them as well. The purpose of this phrase is to help you remember the title of each flat key signature.
