Tekla went for the global market, and it looks like that paid off for them. Are you using a limited license for your side jobs, or do you just use your company’s license? For the price, I just don’t think we’ll be able to save any money using Tekla vs just paying our engineer. What’s your issue with Advance Steel? Functionality or usability?
Which is better, bocad tower or Tekla Structures?
You can forget Bocad Tower, this is not a 3D program – total user-not-friendly. Until they have the program core so far, I’m retired. Program itself is also expensive. Tekla Structures is great, has modules for the tower / components as well as huge community.
