Is riven still good 2021?
Riven is still good though and you should focus around either being a hard solo carry or trying to move the advantages you get to other roles. Most likely jungle or to bot plays . Helping jungle is easier but helping them isn’t simply gonna make them a better player either.

This may be an unpopular opinion but, no. You need to learn basic game mechanics first in order to get better at the game. Things like Poppy, Garen, Ashe, Annie, TF are really good options to learn the game.
