How much difference does a Power Commander make?
The Power Commander is a tuning tool to adjust fuel, and on some models ignition timing. Just adding a Power Commander to a completely stock vehicle usually does not increase peak horsepower. It usually will improve drivability, throttle response, and mid-range horsepower and torque.
Does Power Commander V have autotune?
Once installed, the Auto Tune kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O2 sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride.
Is Power Commander V bike specific?
No. The connectors are different for each injection system on each bike. In theory you can snip the old connectors off and wire up new ones.
