How long does ITLS certification last?

ITLS providers will receive a card and/or certificate from the ITLS chapter confirming that they have satisfactorily completed the course. Certification is good for 3 years or whatever length is deemed appropriate by the chapter.
How much is ITLS?
The ITLS Board of Directors has determined the ITLS International fee charged for all students who take an ITLS course, pass or fail, will increase to $17 per student for all courses as of January 1, 2019.
What is a BTLS certification?
The Basic Trauma Life Support is the most common of these certifications. BTLS, also known as Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), is designed to provide prehospital care providers with the skills necessary to provide a thorough assessment, initial resuscitation and rapid transportation of the trauma victim.
Who can take ITLS?
This limits the full course to advanced EMTs, paramedics, medical students, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians. The Basic Provider course is for EMS personnel who cannot perform advanced procedures (basic EMTs, first responders, and licensed practical nurses).

What is passing grade for ITLS?

Can a recertification student take the ITLS written exam?
Provider Recertification students must also take the ITLS Written Exam as part of the course and will be awarded an ITLS Advanced Provider or ITLS Basic Provider card upon successful completion of both the Written and Practical Exams. My Provider card expired a month ago.

How much does it cost to pass the ITLS?
ITLS charges assessment fees to every student whether they pass or fail. The international fee is currently $15. What it takes to pass: Students pass the ITLS course and become a certified provider after they’ve attended the skill stations, lectures and passed written and practical exams. You aren’t expected to test on every skill.
