Is Ekodeck any good?
Ekodeck was exactly what we were looking for and the colour matched in perfectly with our current tiles. It feels great under foot. Would recommend this product to any friends and family. Purchased in September 2021.
Does Ekodeck expand?
Ekodeck expands and contracts in length with changes in temperature. This is normal behaviour of any wood plastic composite and is not a product fault. It is most important to take this into consideration during installation of your Ekodeck.

It is recommended to use surface protection on furniture and objects to avoid scratching or marking your Ekodeck. In the event your Ekodeck is scratched, it can easily be repaired by lightly sanding in the direction of the grain using 40g sandpaper.
How long does Ekodeck last?
Ekodeck will lighten when exposed to water and sunlight, reaching its overall ‘weathered’ colour after 6-12 months, depending on the environment.
Is composite decking hot to walk on Australia?
In hot, consistently sun-exposed areas, PVC and aluminium decks can also get very hot underfoot. While composite decking products can also retain heat after a long day in direct sunlight, they won’t shrink or splinter like timber.
Can you seal Ekodeck?
Can I oil, paint or seal Ekodeck? Oiling, painting or sealing is not recommended. For long lasting enjoyment of your Ekodeck its best not to use a high pressure cleaner on Ekodeck as water can be forced into the boards. Instead use a normal garden hose with a medium pressure nozzle.
