We’re the Museum on Oxford Road with the dinosaurs, live animals – and much more! Alongside our temporary exhibitions and events, we also have loads of other wonderful objects on display in our permanent galleries from the natural world and different cultures.
Where can I see dinosaurs in Manchester?
Manchester Museum is great for any dinosaur fan! There’s plenty of dinosaurs to see including the star of the show Stan the T-Rex. The Fossils, Minerals and Meteorites galleries span across three rooms. As well as the dinosaurs, my children enjoy the Vivarium, notable for its large collection of frogs!
Are Manchester museums open?
Manchester Museum is now open Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 5pm. If you are planning to visit us you should pre-book tickets as capacity is still limited. You don’t need to book to visit our shop and café. The health and safety of our visitors, volunteers, community and staff is always our priority.
