The FRAP Directory is your go-to place for discovering new research projects taking place on campus. Professors can submit projects on a rolling basis to have their listing hosted on the directory.
How does an undergrad get involved in research on campus UCSB?
Students have the opportunity to initiate their own research projects with faculty mentorship. The Division of Undergraduate Education has 2 programs supporting undergraduate involvement in research: The Faculty Research Assistance Program (FRAP) and the Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities (URCA) grant.
Why is UCSB bad?
The worst thing about UCSB is all the cuts. Lately there have been so many budget cuts, which snowball effect into a lot more cuts. We are losing many of our T.A.s, which mean bigger class sizes, or less classes available. We are also going to lose a ton of our C.L.A.S.
Does UCSB have an honors program?

What is FRAP UCSB?
The Faculty Research Assistance Program (FRAP) allows undergraduates to gain valuable research experience, work with leading UCSB researchers, and simultaneously earn academic credit through special research assistance courses, 99/99RA or 199/199RA.
