What does the red light mean on a crane humidifier?
When the humidifier runs out of water, the Power Indicator Light will turn red and the mist output will stop. Chances are the tap water you are using has too many minerals. When the humidifier gets to work, the ultrasonic process breaks up the minerals creating a (harmless) fine, white dust. To avoid this, we recommend using distilled water, filtered water or using a Crane Demineralization Filter.
