Why is my smart TV not picking up HD channels?

We have 2 older tvs that receive over 100 digital channels but both the smart tvs only get 51 and missing especially ion channel. Guess I will have to take this back and ask for a stupid tv so I can use it for digital It’s now how smart the TV is it’s how much money the manufacturer may have saved by including a poor quality OVA tuner.

Yes getting all none HD channels and auto tuning. I thought with it being a smart TV the tuner would cater for HD but I have not been able to confirm this. Does this model actually have a HD tuner?
