Are dogs allowed on Bear Valley Trail Point Reyes?
Where are dogs allowed in the park? Within Point Reyes National Seashore, dogs are allowed only on South Limantour Beach, North and South Point Reyes Beaches, and Kehoe Beach. They are not allowed on any hiking trails. Pets must be on a leash at all times; the leash must be no longer than 6 feet.
Can you bring dogs to Point Reyes?
Dogs are permitted on just three beaches—Kehoe, Limantour and Great Beach—and just one trail, and are required to be leashed. Point Reyes is well worth visiting even with those restrictions. There’s a lot to see from the car, too. Pets must be on a leash.
Are dogs allowed at Lake Alpine CA?
Lake Alpine, Pine Marten, Silvertip, Silver Valley, Backpackers and Lodgepole Overflow are all first-come, first-served and dog-friendly. There’s lots of dog-friendly nearby territory to explore, including a segment of the Pacific Crest Trail at the summit of Ebbett’s Pass.
Is Calaveras Big Trees dog friendly?
Calaveras Big Trees does not allow dogs on the trails through the sequoia groves, but they’re welcome in the campgrounds and on the park’s fire roads while on leash. Summer brings the opportunity to enjoy the high country and the hundreds of miles of recreation that the Stanislaus National Forest has to offer.

Dogs are welcome in the park on leash in developed areas like picnic sites, campgrounds, paved roads and fire roads (dirt). Dogs are not allowed on the designated trails, nor in the woods in general.

Can dogs go on Drakes Beach?
Please note: leashed dogs are allowed on the southeast end of this beach. Dogs are not permitted to the northwest as this area is protected habitat for harbor seals and the endangered snowy plover. This two-mile-long, narrow spit of sand bound between Drakes Bay and an estuary is a bountiful wildlife area.
