How does the PATH program work?
Prepare, Trial, Hire (PaTH Program) is a youth employment service that helps young people gain the skills and work experience that employers are looking for. The first stage is Prepare. This consists of pre-employment training known as Employability Skills Training (EST).
What is the path grant?
The PATH grant funds community based outreach, mental health and substance abuse referral/treatment, case management and other support services, as well as a limited set of housing services for adults who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness and have a serious mental illness.

How do I join PATH program?
To qualify for PATH, an applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the Programme that he/she is a member of a poor family. This is done through the application of a Proxy Means Test. The applicant is interviewed and an application is completed with the help of Ministry personnel.

Many of these offices sub-contract with local community providers to provide PATH services.
