Does ZP100 have WiFi?

What is the difference between Sonos ZP100 and ZP120?
As far as I know, the ZP100 had analog amplification vs digital in the ZP120, ZP120 has 5W more power, ZP120 has SonosNet 2.0 for better WiFi performance, and 2 Ethernet jacks vs 4 in the ZP100. The ZP120 is evolutionary improvement – half the size and weight with more power and better wireless.
Can Sonos Connect to 5ghz?
When you’re in standard (now called ‘wireless’) you’re using your routers 2.4ghz wifi. Sonos will never use your router’s 5ghz wifi.
Which Sonos speakers have been discontinued?
Sonos discontinued the Play:3 — a Goldilocks speaker between the Play:1 and Play:5 — in 2018, but the company still supports the speaker with regular updates. You’ll still likely see used or refurbished Play:3 speakers online, but Sonos doesn’t sell any new models anymore.
Should Sonos be on 2.4 or 5GHz?
Sonos is a widespread brand in Norway and is used as an example here, but the advice will be the same for most brands. Most devices from Sonos and similar products use the 2.4 GHz frequency band. That is, the frequency band with the most interference and the longest signal range.
Can I use my Sonos without WiFi?
Newer Sonos speakers, like the Sonos Play 5, can work without Wi-Fi connections, but you will need to first connect to Wi-Fi to set it up. This is made possible by enabling the auto play feature, which allows the speaker to play with or without Wi-Fi connectivity once it detects a line-in signal.
